Rested???? No not really...but sooo worth it!!!

Well, I hope everyone has had a relaxing and restful weekend... As for me, I don't think I've stopped at all.... and I LOVE that!!!!

My weekend started last Wednesday, when after work I hung out with my boss and another girl from work. We ate, had some drinks, and talked about work and where we want to take this lovely surgery center..... I felt relieved to have gotten a few concerns off my chest, so that plus the fun made it all worth it....

Thursday, even though I did work... I had to go buy a new phone because my poor phone died.... I've had it for over 2 years, but I just loved it!!!... Well, I'm over it now because I bought myself a palm centro... I love this little phone... and it loves me back tooo.... It bought me a beer.... Story to follow... Here's what it looks like...

So after I bought the phone... A few of the girls from work and I decided to go to BJ's for 4th of July dinner / happy hour!!!!! When I got there I sat in my car waiting for someone to show up, so I charged my phone (since it only had a half hour worth of charge!!!) and started to play with it.... Then when Christi showed up we went inside and grabbed a table... Our waiter stopped by and asked if one of us would happen to have the charger to our phones because his was about to die!!! I told him I did, and he said he would buy me a beer if I let him charge his phone while I was there, so I did... and there is how my phone loved me back so much that it bought me a beer!!! I even got the waiter to give my friend Christi a beer too!!! Good times!!! We ended up being 8 all together including 3 of our docs that showed up.... I think I left there around 10ish... What a great time!!!

Friday, of course was 4th of July.... We headed over to Tim and Mels place, or should I say De Mers party central, for a bbq/pool party.... I don't know and shouldn't speak for anyone else, but I had a GREAT time!!!! We ate, drank, swam, played GH, and Rock Band... It was good times... We polished off a whole BIG bottle of cuervo and called it a night.... Bartender did a great job of keeping us all well lubricated.... And the food was awesome too!!! Here are the edited pics..... We'll leave the incriminating ones for our eyes only!!! hahahahh!!!

Saturday, I didn't have to work.... Yay!!!! We hung out at home, cleaned a bit, Mark and Noah went to the gym, and I made a pineapple upside down cake to take to my moms for our fam bbq..... We headed over there and watched Obi and brother Sonic play.... Played with my nephew Brayden who is sooo cute!!!! We ate, hung out in the yard...and finally called it a night.

Today has been busy too.... I woke up and made my boys chocolate chip waffles for breakfast.... We cleaned the rest of the house up, did some laundry, got dressed and headed out to go watch Wall-E.... I love this movie!!!! It's the sweetest thing ever... I must have held back my tears 3 times during the movie..... Thank goodness it's a Disney movie and ends on a happy note or else I would have been in trouble with no tissues in hand!!!!! After the movie, we went to Best Buy to pick up my new IPOD!!!! My old one died about 2 months ago, and since then Mark and I have been sharing his.... I had a few gift cards left over from my birthday, so I finally just went and got one... It's one of those cute 8GB IPOD nanos.... I decided all I really needed was my latest, old school favs and my workout music.... Mark has all the rest of our tunes on his, so we're good!!!! I don't need all that much memory.... And it's cute...



We then came home had some dinner, and I've been playing on the computer with my phone and IPOD ever since!!!!

Noah and Mark played some Rock Band together... Noah is our newest bass player!!! He has just started playing bass on easy, so with some practice he'll be shredding like the rest of our nephews do.....

OK, I am off to take a shower and get in bed.... It's going to be a long week!!!!
