Thanks to my sister in law Mel for putting a video of haylee on her blog I signed up for this website one true media.. it's pretty cool... So i made a slideshow of my hubby and me at a bunch of different events that we've been to... My I love my hubby slideshow.... Here is the link.

What a great weekend..

What a great weekend.... On Friday I got out of work at a decent time.. (this is rare for Friday) Our ENT (ear nose and throat) surgeon is in Korea teaching so we weren't very busy! Noah had his cousin Hunter spend the night, so we picked up some pizza and the little guys just played video games and star wars till they dropped.... Mark and I even threw in a movie for ourselves... We watched 300...which was awesome... I love the way that was filmed...Almost like a comic book... What a great movie...



Saturday was a busy day... First birthday breakfast with my mom at Mimi's Cafe...(Just me and my mommy... Those are moments I'll always love to remember...) Then home to meet up with Mark, Noah and Hunter... When i got home, Noah had lost one of his teeth!!! He was sooo excited for the tooth fairy to come...

Mark, Noah and Hunter were headed to the pool, so I made a stop at the gym for a while then went swimming with them... Noah is hardly using his floats anymore... I barely put any air in them so they are basically useless to him... but he is doing great.. swimming all by himself. He just has to get over those darn anxiety attacks he gets in the water.... After that, it's all good!!!
Let's see, after the pool we went home for lunch then Jeff and Brandie came to pick up Hunter and Noah because they were going to have a slumber party over there... So since we had a free night to ourselves, we went to see the movie SUPERBAD...which was super funny!!! and then had a late night dinner at Applebees.... What a great date night!!! Just me and my hunny!!!

Sunday was our family BBQ for my moms birthday... Tons of food (as always), good drinks, lots of laughs.... and giving thanks for having our momma (or as Cody would say "MA") near us!!! We had our BBQ at Terri and Jays house... and of course we all fought over who got to hold Little B!!! Here's some pics of that cute little guy!!!

It's actually my Friday!!!

Yay... I am actually enjoying today because I don't have to work this weekend... I am so happy and thankful for that!!! This Saturday is my mommy's birthday so we are going to have a family BBQ either at her place or ours and just relax as a family!!! Good times..I can't wait.




I'm also giving a little Noah update here.... He is a yellow belt now ( I think I've mentioned that once or twice) ahahha.. He's been practicing his form and one steps a lot lately... Well this past Wednesday he earned his first stripe on his belt!! Such mommy pride!!! He did his 28 step form all the way through naming each move as he did it... Master Niece was very pleased!!! (Me too!!!) What made me even happier is that Mark was able to make it to this class because it was a late one... 715-8 pm... Noah is usually in bed @ 8pm... but he had missed 4 classes when Little B was in the hospital so we have to make them up in the later class. So Mark saw Noah test for his stripe....and he saw me get nervous when he was testing... I mumble all the moves under my breath and just smile when he looks over at me... Too funny! At the end of class, they learn a self-defense technique... This time they were learning what to do if someone is choking you... There's a little video of it on my youtube page.... Let's see... other news... Marks office won a cruise!!! We'll be going in October to Ensenada.. This will be Marks and my first cruise ever.. I'm sure we'll have a great time... I was looking at options for when we get into Ensenada and there is a fun mini jeep ride I think we may take... I had a blast when we were on our honeymoon in Maui and we did the ATV tour... hopefully this will be like that... We get to go with the same fun group that we went to Vegas with a few months ago... They're like on big happy family over there at his office.. What a fun place to work...

Hey guys... Happy Friday to all!!!

I am really excited for this weekend because tomorrow will be my 6th saturday working in a row, and then i will have two weeks off.... yay!!! it's actually a lot of fun working saturday at the hospital... i get to see and work with all the surgeons i started out working with.. and they are all so wonderful!!! it's an awesome time...

but none the less i am glad to have two weekends off!!! one is my mommys b-day and the other one is labor day weekend... not sure exactly what we will do for my moms b-day, but i think we've decided to go to the beach for labor day with my sis-in-laws and all the kidlets.... should be a good time.....

as for the rest of this weekend... i am probably going to go to a bridal shower at morongo casino tomorrow night, and sunday just relax at home with the fam... maybe go swimming... get some sun because my tan is FADED!!!!

wow.... Wednesday is over already...and so is half of august by the way!!! time flies...doesn't it???

today was my little mans first day of second grade... so i went to work late so i could personally drop him off to his class.... since kindercare usually takes him to school, this was a great treat for me... he was so excited for school to start, he woke up early this morning and was so "awake" compared to grumpy like he has been.... he takes after me, you know...not a morning person!!! he had breakfast at home and then off we were to school... and when we got there...he was ready for me to go.. all i heard a few times was "bye mom, I'll see you later".... and i kept saying, I'm staying till you go in your room.... :)~ that's my guy!!! so independent... i love it!!! so i stayed to watch him go in his class and even got a kiss on the cheek from him in front of his classmates....told him i loved him and off i went to work.... at the end of the day, he said he had a great day and that his teacher is very nice... so it was a great beginning to second grade...

anyway here's a few pics of his first day in second grade....

today was also mothers day in Costa Rica... so happy mothers day to anyone reading this that is a mother... i was lucky enough to get out of work on time to meet my mom and sisters for dinner at olive garden.... what a great way to celebrate mothers day... both my sisters (and little b), my awesome mommy and with my son.. too bad mark and jay were at work...

Noah said that his mothers day gift to me would be that he was going to try extra hard in tae kwon do today to do great high kicks and his form all the way through by himself... which he did... i told him i loved my gift!! i couldn't have asked for anything better.... it was perfect!!!

and below this post you'll see the slide show that i made for my pics from the karaoke party that mark and i threw this past Saturday!!! it was a hit... i keep getting questions like, when is the next one??? well, i think i better let my liver heal from this one!!! phew.. i had a lot of alcohol... i finally passed out around 1 am!!! but Kimmy and ted karaoke'd till 330 am!!! die hards!!! mark was up with them till they called it a night (well i guess they called it a morning!!!) what a great time!!! thanks to everyone who participated!!!! couldn't have done it without ya!!! and special thanks to my brother teddy!!!! thanks for letting us use your karaoke mics....

saturday again....

Hey everyone.... hope you've all had a good week... mine has been pretty uneventful... just working hard over at the surgery center...

for those that didn't know.. noah tested for his yellow belt in tae kwon do and GOT IT!!!! (of course, i didn't doubt him for a minute...) but he did a great job!!! and thursday was his belt ceremony where he actually got his new belt... and he's already started learning his new form and is catching on sooo fast... i'm loving watching him learn this. i have even more fun learning with him (even though i am not enrolled in the classes, i learn the forms with him by practicing..)

so after this yellow belt, we will start sparring!!!! i am SOOOO excited for this... i've already started trying to teach him some of the sparring kicks... which take so much balance...and he is actually trying... ahhhh, my boy!!!! makes me proud!!!!

and tonight at our place we are having a little party to celebrate my adopted asian brother ted and his wonderful talent of karaoke..... it should be fun... good friends, good food, lots of drinks, and some karaoke!!!! pics of this will definitely be up sometime before this weekend is over....

well, for now, i'm here at my weekend job..... we have a few cases and them i'm going to leave early so i can get things together for our party... have a great weekend everyone!!!! stay cool it's supposed to be hot out there....

just a rant....

argh... i'm just ranting now because i feel like the world is taking such a dive.... people have become so fake, and superficial, and materialistic.... it's just plain sad.

it seems like people only care about how big their home is, how expensive their things are, how many they have, and how far down their nose they can look at you when you aren't the same way... i don't know... i guess i just feel like the minority in this world, because i don't care about that stuff.... money isn't what drives my happiness... and yet it seems to drive so many others... it seems to drive the world .... i don't want a big home, i don't want an expensive car (look at mine, it's the bottom of the line in my model....) , i don't want a bunch of expensive bags to carry all my crap in.... i just want to be with my family and friends, have fun and be happy.....

young girls are becoming more and more materialistic and becoming a gold digger is almost admired amongst them.... they are out to find a nice rich man to give them money and let them do what they want... they have no ambition to be independant , self sustaining, or to get a career of their own. they want everything handed to them.... like it's owed to them because they are pretty.... what a sad state of mind.... and yet it's accepted....

well, it will never be accepted in my home... i will always push my kid to be independant, and a self thinker and motivated.... noah does his own thing and doesn't let a lot bother him.... (thats why we call him our "emo kid") but i like that about him... he doesn't need to be accepted by anyone to make him happy.... thats my boy!!!!

alright, i think i'm done venting my issue with the world that we live in..... till next time...

well, this will be quick anyways because we're going to be going to Lily's b-day party out in the oc in a bit...
just thought i would spread the news that my little man is now an official yellow belt in tae kwon do.... he tested yesterday for his next belt and passed with flying colors again!!!!. i am so proud of him (of course, i was at work and missed the test) but mark told me all about it.. i will get to take pictures of his belt ceremony this coming Thursday, so i will post some then....
yesterday was also my big sisters b-day.... she turned the big 31!!! hahahahaha... she hates that!! i think she cried last yesr when she hit 30... oh well, no way to stop getting older... so we all went to Johnny Carino's for dinner.... all 8 of us!!! wow, we're a big group... it was a great family time... i love spending time with them....
ok well, time to get ready... maybe pics later, we'll see....
