Ready for another week!!!

This weekend was a great one!!!

Friday work went awesome and we were done before the time we had anticipated. I took Noah to sparring class and he kicked ass scoring 7 points!!! Then we went home and got ready because Mark, myself, Kimmy, my friend / coworker Vero and her hunny Daniel were heading out to a place called Bar Celona in Pasadena. So we picked Kimmy up and headed to Veros place where we shared a few Newcastles and headed out!!! The bar was fun, we drank, danced, laughed... Had a great time!!!

Saturday at work was great. Ihad the chance to assist an ortho doc I had never met before on a hip hemi-arthroplasty. We basically replaced the ball part of the hip joint. It was fun!!!! The doc even said thanks!! Loved it!!! I left work early because one of the girls I used to work with at the other surgery center is having a baby next month, so it was time for a baby shower!!! We played games, watched her open presents, ate some yummy food and just had fun. It was great catching up with those girls....Some I hadn't seen in almost 3 years!!! Amazing!!! When I got home on Saturday I was so tired from only getting an hour and a half of sleep that I just crashed for the rest of the night!!!! I caught up on some much needed sleep!!!

This morning (Sunday morning).... We woke up and went to the gym. I ran nearly 2 miles then walked one... while I watched Mark do his workout and Noah playing on the treadmill and elliptical... After that we went home, got ready and headed out to Victoria Gardens (a really nice outdoor mall). We took Obi with us so he could walk around and get some air!!! We stopped at a place that is getting a lot of hype lately. It's the new trendy place to go. But I have to admit, I didn't like it!! (Sorry Mel, I know you love it) It was Pinkberry. A frozen yogurt place. I don't know I guess I expected more from all the attention it's been given. It was just plain and simple and nothing new in flavor. Oh well, to each their own!!! When we left there we went to pick up some stuff because my mom and sisters were coming over for our thank you dinner. They came, we ate Marks creation of some great angel hair pasta with italian sausage and a creamy vodka sauce, a salad of mixed field greens and three cheese italian dressing. I even made Marks request of fresh garlic bread with mozzarella and parmesan on top. It was so great!!! I love it when Marka nd I cook together!!! It's so much fun!!! And for dessert I made a pineapple upside down cake with fresh vanilla whipped cream.... Wow, we were so full at the end of this meal, I think everyone just wanted to fall asleep!!!! We watched the Tivod episode of Hells Kitchen that I missed this week, here I am blogging now, and soon I will be off to bed.

I know I promised to load some pics before, well here is the one of Noah driving the tractor at Mikes place!! He had so much fun!!!

This week seems pretty busy at work. Noah has his usual Tae Kwon Do schedule. I work next Saturday..... But who knows what fun things life will sprinkle in the midst of this week!!!!
